July 1st 2012 marked Versace’s return to Haute Couture. For Donatella Versace and her family, the night must have held special significance as it was held at The Ritz, 14 years after Gianni Versace held his last runway show there. The collection was filled with chiffon and candy colours alongside corseted bodices and micro-mini dresses.

My favourite piece from the collection is a blush coloured, one shoulder absract print evening dress with a thigh high slit. It reminds me of sheer glamour and luxury, a must in any girl’s life!!!

For me, summer always needs the perfect jean dress and I’ve found the perfect one for me. It’s from H&M and is a not exactly jeans material but is made to look like it. I love the fact that it’s not your typical deep blue denim but instead is a softer bleached almost icy blue colour. I love the bow detail at the front and it also has pockets (which you can’t really tell from the picture) at the sides. It has a dipped neckline but its not too outrageous that you can’t take it from day to night with the addition of a few accessories! I’m looking forward to the perfect summer picnic to wear this dress to,I can’t wait!!

I am currently reading this book on the friendship between Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent, a friendship that later became rivalry. I’m about 10 pages in but will keep you updated as I go through it.

This is an ensemble I wore to a friend’s birthday night out. It was fun to have a pop of colour added to the outfit from my bag as I often find it difficult to incorporate colour into the clothes I wear. This outfit, however,was a hit that night!

I recently attended the graduate fashion show at my university and I have to say it was absolutely amazing!! It was my very first one and the energy was just WOW!! I wore a green pastel coloured pleated midi skirt, a sheer navy blue blouse and brown wedge sandals. Got these fluorescent pink wedges from H&M the other day and I have to admit I have fallen in love with them :)
I don’t usually wear bright colours but summertime has got me feeling like I need to change my style.
I found this complimentary bag in Primark for £6 (bargain!!!!)
